Michelle Bond is Ripple’s Global Head of Government and Regulatory Affairs. Based in Washington, D.C., she develops the company’s Government and Regulatory Affairs strategy, oversees the global team, and engages with global policy makers, legislators and regulators to pave the way for the next generation of digital payments and the Internet of Value.
Ms. Bond has served as the Global Head of Policy at Blockchain and Head of Global Regulatory Affairs and Public Policy at Bloomberg. Prior to Bloomberg, Ms. Bond was Senior Counsel at the United States Securities and Exchange Commission in the Office of International Affairs, and Senior Counsel at the United States Senate Banking Committee, where she served as an expert on securities, derivatives, and banking. She has also represented financial services clients in private practice at WilmerHale and Hogan Lovells. Ms. Bond is licensed to practice law in both New York and the District of Columbia.
