Giff Carter serves as Chief Revenue Officer at Stash, the financial services platform that’s revolutionizing saving and investing. In this role, Giff is responsible for the commercialization of the existing platform (Stash Invest, Stash Retire and the not-yet-launched Stash Banking Services) and for developing new markets for Stash, from both a geographic and business line perspective. He also oversees the company’s strategic partnerships and corporate development initiatives, as well as legal, compliance, privacy, and regulatory efforts.
Prior to joining Stash, Giff was the Senior Vice President, Head of Strategy and Venture Capital at Voya Financial (formerly ING). Among other accomplishments, Giff helped lead Voya’s initial public offering and its turnaround and growth strategy. He formerly was Co-General Counsel at ICON Capital Corp and served as an attorney at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP. He began his career as an officer in the U.S. Navy.
Giff earned a BA and JD (summa cum laude) from Boston University.
