She is responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships focused on commercializing MasterCard Labs technology and products.

Prior to this role, Ms. DeVita served as president, MasterCard Canada. She oversaw all aspects of the company’s operations, including strategy, business development, acceptance expansion, regulatory, marketing and product introductions with a mandate for growth and innovation.

Before joining MasterCard, Ms. DeVita served as chair and chief executive officer of Citibank Canada for three years where she led the franchise with accountability across all lines of business. She has previously worked in Citibank divisions in Latin America, the U.S. and Asia.

Ms. DeVita served on the Executive Council of the Canadian Bankers Association and was one of the founding members of Finance Canada Payments Consultative Committee. In 2014, she was inducted into the Women’s Executive Network Hall of Fame as one of Canada’s Most Powerful Women.

Ms. DeVita holds a Bachelor of Science from St. John’s University in New York and is a graduate of the CEO Certificate program at Wharton-KMA in Seoul, South Korea. She earned the Institute of Corporate Directors certification from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.
